Our concept for this scarf is to create the effect of a cascade of diamonds. The end result is that the design is more visible on one side than the other. Almost monochrome in certain places, the discrete design is more visible on the ends of the scarf.
The color scheme of this scarf is comprised of clear, defined hues. The blend of violet and green with a mauve center makes it ideal for pairing with winter clothes where chestnut, khaki, marine blue, or black dominate the outfit.
How should you wash a wool stole? We would advise that you wash it by hand, with a detergent made especially for natural materials. Do not let it soak for too long. To begin the drying process, put the scarf in a towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Lay the scarf flat to dry, and iron it on a hot setting with the iron’s vapor function to preserve all the properties of the scarf’s natural materials. While putting in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.
Our Jacquard method used to make this scarf is a modernized evolution of the weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to technological advancements over time, our looms are now electronically controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before. We stay up to date with the latest technological progress to keep the quality of our work in line with modern standards.
We created this scarf in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, resulting in a perfect product thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880.
