This handsome men’s scarf is based on a luxurious, high-quality cashmere. Our special blend of cashmere, Merino wool, and silk makes for an ideal balance of softness, warmth, and comfort. Our original satin weaving technique with this scarf gives it volume and depth. The pattern consists of a stripe of our own “re-imagined” herringbone motif in the center of the scarf, which is given depth by a variety of hues of chocolat and gray. This is then bordered by a stripe to the right with the same design, but in beige, and in a blue turquoise color to the left. When taken as a whole, this geometric scarf goes well with neutral colors and adds a touch of elegance and timelessness to your outfits. An original and luxurious gift that is sure to please!
INSPIRATION

The designer was inspired by the newest interpretations of the classic herringbone pattern now coming out of Parisian fashion houses. She thus decided to take this classic design and re-imagine it with diagonal stripes, all while maintaining a more reserved color palette, using primarily blue turquoise, gray, chocolat and turquoise blue to make for a classic and timeless look. Our special blend of cashmere, Merino wool, and silk enhances this motif.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

You could wear this luxury cashmere scarf to go out, together with a jacket, an overcoat, or a sweater, for example. With very conspicuous fringes, it adds a more laid-back look to your outfit. As far as colors go, it will match with most of your clothes as the navy, blue jean's, gray, and black color combination can be put together with almost any color men's clothing.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

For a cashmere-based scarf, we advise washing by hand in tepid water, as wool does not tolerate higher temperatures. Do not let it soak for too long. Use a gentle detergent or a detergent specifically meant for wool. To dry, put the scarf in a towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. It must be ironed on low using the vapor function to restore the wool’s volume and softness. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving technique to make this scarf is an interweaving of silk warp threads with cashmere, Merino wool, and silk weft threads following a specific pattern. To do this, we use Jacquard looms. The Jacquard method is a weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to our artisanal skills passed down from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronic looms controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before, all while remaining within the true Lyon tradition.
