Rayon fabrics can be composted once their life cycle is over. Thus, it is a very ecologically-friendly fiber. Moreover, rayon is inexpensive, you can find dyed rayon yarns at around \u20ac15-\u20ac20 per kilogram, or $7.75-$11 per pound.
