A delicate stole comprised of a subtle blend of Merino wool and silk, lending it a very particular, special feel to the touch. Large, stylized rust-red flowers are drawn onto a darker background of various hues ranging from coral pink, lilac pink, to Indian pink. Each end of the scarf has discrete 1 cm long black fringes. The light and delicate stole can be worn mid-season, and you will appreciate its large size which adds comfort and a soft touch to cold days, while the original design will really accentuate your own personal look. This scarf is 100% made in Lyon, France.
INSPIRATION

This scarf’s design is a wonderful, playful take on a classic stylized flower pattern which is superimposed and intermixed with a transparent effect. With a color palette of rust red, brick, and pink hues, the contours of the scarf are mellowed out in this oversize stole.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

A silk and wool blend scarf makes for a light-weight yet warm scarf which is perfect for cooler temperatures in fall and spring. Moreover, its large dimensions allow it to be worn together with a chic, classic overcoat or with a jacket or blouse. Its original design is made to complement the latest fashion trends, and thus will add a laid-back yet chic accent to your outfit.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash a wool and silk scarf, we advise washing by hand with a detergent meant for delicate fabrics. Do not let it soak for too long. To dry, put the scarf in a towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. It must be ironed on low using the vapor function to restore the volume of the fibers that compose the scarf. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving technique to make this scarf is an interweaving of silk warp threads with Merino wool weft threads following a specific pattern. To do this, we use Jacquard looms. The Jacquard method is a weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to our artisanal skills passed down from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronic looms controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before, all while remaining within the true Lyon tradition.
