Inspired by Pashmina designs, this large women’s scarf is soft and extremely comfortable. The color scheme blends turquoise and blue ink with a fuxia pink band down the middle to add more depth and creativity. Ideal for pairing with black, brown, off white, or marine blue clothes. Our unique blend of Merino wool and rayon, when woven together, gives a very supple and gentle feel that makes it great for wearing every day. The ethnic geometric design enriches the exceptional quality of this stole.
INSPIRATION

This scarf represents a high level of creativity on the part of our designer. She was inspired by several fashion and artistic movements which can all be found together in this one scarf. Half of the presentation is a floral motif, while the other is a circular design with half-moons and circles to maintain a more flexible presentation of design. At the same time, a Frisé-woven stripe 10.26 inches (26 cm) wide was added to the center of the scarf to separate the two different motifs. To add contrast, this stripe is comprised of a geometric herringbone design.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

As it is comprised of turquoise, blue ink and a pink center, this stole is ideal for accessorizing lighter colored or black outfits. It would also be an excellent addition to your wardrobe to pair together with winter coats or mid-season jackets, adding a certain harmony and chic look to them. Whether you are going for a more chic or laid-back look, this large scarf can be worn for everyday errands or to work.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

How should you wash a wool and rayon stole? We advise washing by hand with a detergent meant specifically for natural materials. Do not let it soak for too long. To begin the drying process, put the scarf in a towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then you may place the scarf on a hanger to dry. It must be ironed on high heat using the vapor function to protect all the properties of the natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

Our Jacquard method used to make this scarf is a modernized evolution of the weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to technological advancements over time, our looms are now electronically controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before. We stay up to date with the latest technological progress to keep the quality of our work in line with modern standards. We created this scarf in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, resulting in a perfect product thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880.
